Attention Members

We are aware that it is going to be hot this Saturday.. competition will still go ahead as it is our last day of normal competition for the season.

In the interest of trying to beat the heat we are starting the 1500m at 7:30am this way we can get straight into the 400m at 8am.

We will have the misters going and the buckets of water placed around the oval for athletes to cool off. For us to get started early we will need parent help to set up equipment and cooling stations please consider coming early to help, many hands make light work.

As mentioned above this is the last day of normal competition and the last chance for athletes to qualify for Centre Championships on 2nd and 16th March. Please find attached the event count.

Zones Championships is next weekend if you haven’t already nominated and are going to please do so.

Senior State Track and Field Championships Nominations are open too.. this will be held on 23rd-25th March.

Training will continue over the next few weeks for athletes to keep up their skills and fitness.
